Simon Pegg is an English actor who plays Benji Dunn in the Mission: Impossible film series. 

He worked with Tom Cruise on six films in the franchise and witnessed many of the dangerous scenes Cruise performed himself.

In an interview with Deadline, Pegg talked about his emotions watching Cruise perform those stunts.

 He said that he is always worried about Cruise and that he is always there to support him.

“Every time he did a stunt, we were always scared, worried that one day, something would go wrong and we might lose Tom Cruise,” Pegg said. 

“But he always does better than expected.”

Pegg also said that he admired Cruise’s dedication to his profession. 

He said that Cruise is a consummate professional and he is always willing to do whatever it takes to bring the best movies to audiences.

Here are some specific actions Pegg took when Tom Cruise performed the dangerous scene:

Staying close to Cruise to support him: Pegg said that he stayed close to Cruise while Cruise was performing his stunt. He does this to ensure that Cruise can trust him if he needs anything.

Cheering Cruise on: Pegg also said that he always cheers Cruise on when Cruise does his stunts. He does this to help Cruise stay mentally alert and focused.

Helping Cruise relax: Pegg also said that he helped Cruise relax after performing dangerous scenes. He does this by talking to Cruise or telling him jokes.

Pegg is a close friend and colleague of Tom Cruise. He is always there to support Cruise and he greatly admires Cruise’s dedication to his profession.
