Britney Spears received the Candie’s Choice Style Icon award in 2022, and her speech made headlines.

Spears spent much of her speech talking about her custody battle, and she used the opportunity to thank her fans for supporting her during a difficult time.

Spears began her speech by saying she felt “honored” to receive the award. 

She then went on to talk about her custody battle, and she shared that she’s “had to go through a lot” over the years.

“I have faced challenges I never imagined,” Spears said. “I was controlled by people I didn’t trust, and I didn’t have control over my life.”

Spears also spoke about the support she has received from her fans. 

She says they are her “source of strength”, and she would not have been able to get through her fight without them.

“I want to thank my fans for always being there for me,” Spears said. “You gave me the strength to keep fighting, and I will never forget that.”

Spears’ speech received a standing ovation from the audience. It is a testament to Spears’ strength and her resilience. It is also a reminder to others facing challenges in life that they are not alone.
