The cast and crew of the latest Mission: Impossible movie were thanked by Hollywood star Tom Cruise after overcoming a series of difficulties during filming. 

Production on the seventh film in the hit franchise Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One was forced to pause when the Covid-19 pandemic swept the globe.

Production moved from Longcross Film Studios to Warner Bros Studios, where strict protocols allowed filming to continue. 

Areas of Birmingham were used for filming. 

He also dropped two spiced chicken tikka pies at Asha’s curry shop in Birmingham and saw his BMW stolen while filming in the city. 

In 2020, Tom was heard screaming at crew members in a recording that went viral. The clip captured him reacting to apparent violations of social distancing rules.

However, the 60-year-old actor said the film’s release was a «beautiful moment» to share with his co-stars and crew, as it seemed he had left all that behind.
