The new Lip Sync Battle series comes out swinging with an amazing Swift performance by The Rock.

Lip Sync Battle, the spin-off of Jimmy Fallon’s popular Tonight Show segment, premiered Thursday night, and it came out of the gate swinging.

Who knows how long this show can sustain its premise, even with charismatic hosts like LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen.

But if it can provide us with beautiful moments like Dwayne Johnson rocking out (sorry) to Taylor Swift, then, well, let’s not ask too many questions.

This is Johnson’s second TV musical moment of the week, following up his delightfully smooth “Franchise Viagra” monologue on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

And while we can’t promise that Furious 7 will have a dance break, this isn’t the last bit of song and dance we’ll see from the Rock.

He just announced that his upcoming role as the lead character, Maui, in Disney’s animated feature Moana will be a singing role. Unfortunately, since it’s a cartoon, we will be deprived of those sweet, sweet Rock dance movies. And, since it’s Disney, there won’t be any of these salty gestures.
