Nicki Minaj shared several photos of her son to her Instagram account on Thursday morning.
In the snaps, the 40-year-old performer’s baby boy, aged two, was seen while spending time at a restaurant, playing with a toy basketball and watching a video on a phone.
The hitmaker, who recently scored back-to-back number-one hits, has not revealed her son’s name to the public as of yet, and usually refers to him as Papa Bear in her various social media posts.
Minaj shares her son with her husband, Kenneth ‘Zoo’ Petty, whom she married in 2019.
The two have known each other ever since their childhood years and began dating in 2018.
The Super Bass singer was previously in a long-term relationship with Safaree Samuels that lasted from 2000 until 2014.
She eventually reconnected with Petty, and the pair tied the knot in 2019 after just a year of dating.
Minaj revealed that she was pregnant through a post that was shared to her Instagram account in July of 2020.
The Grammy Award-nominated performer went on to give birth to her son in September of that year.
The hitmaker’s child has shown up in numerous photos that have been shared to her Instagram account since then.
Minaj previously revealed her son’s planned name during an episode of her fan radio, where she expressed via Entertainment Tonight that many of her friends were fans of the moniker.
She recalled: ‘A lot of people said they liked it, but I said, “Nah.” His name was going to be Ninja.’
The performer then stated that she had ‘changed it at the last minute.’
The singer previously spoke about parenting to Jada Pinkett Smith during a sit-down for Interview Magazine, during which she remarked that she had grown particularly close to her son during his early years.
