KATY PERRY has confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child with actor Orlando Bloom, after hinting at the news in her music video.

The California Gurls singer revealed that it was also the “longest secret I’ve ever had to keep.” The 35-year-old singer revealed the news in the music video for her latest single, Never Worn White.

The slushy song seems to have been inspired by her relationship with her husband British actor Orlando Bloom. Katy has been dating the actor, 43, since 2016 and confirmed in February last year that they were engaged.

In the music video, she wears a white dress with her hair cascading in blonde curls.

The lyric “see us in 60 years with a full family tree” could be a reflection of her relationship with her husband.The video ends with Katy cradling her baby bump in a side-on shot.

She wrote on Instagram: “Let’s just say it’s gonna be a jam packed summer.”

During a live video after the song was released, Katy revealed that she is ready to release a new album.
