Katy Perry has long been one of the highest-paid women in music and now commands a net worth that will see her become one of the richest self-made women in the US in 2024.

Born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, Perry is renowned as one of the greatest pop stars in the world.

Although she started her career when she was still a teenager, Perry shot to fame with the release of her second studio album in 2008 when she was 23 years old.

In between, she released a song “Simple” for the soundtrack to the 2005 romantic drama movie The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
