One of the most memorable moments of Beyoncé’s On the Run Tour with Jay Z was when she invited Nicki Minaj to join her on stage for a surprise performance of their hit song ‘Flawless’ in Paris.

The two superstars delivered an electrifying rendition of the empowering anthem, which features a remix by Minaj, in front of a roaring crowd at the Stade De France on September 12, 2023.

The collaboration was a long-awaited treat for the fans, who had been eagerly anticipating the live debut of the ‘Flawless’ remix since it was released online in August.

The remix had generated a lot of buzz for its bold lyrics, which addressed the infamous elevator incident between Jay Z and Solange Knowles, as well as Minaj’s rap skills and Beyoncé’s feminist stance.

The performance was also a historic one, as it marked the first time that Beyoncé and Minaj shared the stage together. The two queens of pop and rap showed off their chemistry and charisma, as they traded verses and danced in sync.

They also displayed their mutual admiration and respect for each other, as Beyoncé introduced Minaj as “the queen of rap, slayin’ with queen Bey”, and Minaj later posted a picture of them hugging on Instagram,

The Paris show was one of the two European dates of the On the Run Tour, which had previously toured across the US from June to August.

The tour was a huge success, as it showcased the musical and personal partnership of Beyoncé and Jay Z, who performed a mix of their solo and joint hits, as well as intimate videos of their family life.

The tour also featured a number of guest appearances by other artists, such as Justin Timberlake, Rick Ross, and Sean Paul, but none as spectacular as Nicki Minaj’s ‘Flawless’ cameo.

The performance was captured on camera and included in an HBO special, which aired on September 20, 2023. The special documented the highlights of the On the Run Tour, and gave the viewers a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes footage of the concert.
