Heavily pregnant Katy Perry looked radiant in Santa Monica on Sunday as she soaked up the sun while driving her vintage Mercedes convertible.

The 35-year-old singer appeared relaxed in a wicker visor and a ruffle strapped maxi dress while making the most of her day before her impending arrival arrives.

The Firework hitmaker worked her blonde locks into a top knot while driving the light blue 1967 coupe, which costs from $57,500 upwards.

The songstress is currently preparing for the birth of her first child with fiance Orlando and has been extremely busy promoting her upcoming album, Smile, amid the coronavirus pandemic.  

And Katy admitted that she’s been taking her pregnancy weight gain in her stride, despite ‘everything being swollen’.

In an interview with Australia’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the star, who explained she was now 190lbs (86kg), said: ‘I’m really grateful for my body.

‘Going through this process you get a whole new viewpoint. My hands are swollen, my feet are starting to swell.’

The Chained to the Rhythm, delightedly showed off her baby bump in a crop top during the interview and insisted she likes to keep ‘active’ – which is why she’s continuing to work ‘really hard’ while she’s heavily pregnant.

She admitted: ‘I’m a very active woman … and during this time of COVID — and quite frankly an American revolution — I have been also putting out songs and heading towards putting out a record.

‘I’m working really hard. The one blessing is I don’t have to travel extremely. I like not watching the hands of time roll by. I like being a mother on the move.’
