He has been filming Indiana Jones 5 in Northumberland this week.
And Harrison Ford took a much-needed break from the set to purchase a £4,500 watch in a luxury Mayfair store on Saturday.
The 78-year-old actor looked in incredible shape as he showed off his muscular physique in a navy blue T-shirt at the shop in London.
The star, who was seen browsing the selection in the store, is reported to have bought a Bremont ALT1-P watch.
While he was making his purchase, he was also spotted giving the shop owner a copy of the Indiana Jones complete movie DVD set and a signed autograph.
He donned a pair of blue jeans for the outing as he eyed up various watches on display and his glasses hung around his neck.
Leaving the store he appeared to have already put the watch on his wrist, eager to test out his new purchase, and also wore a pair of Rayban sunglasses to shield his eyes from the sun.
The Hollywood star has been undertaking a gruelling exercise regime while filming the latest Indiana Jones film at Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland.
He has been cycling 40 miles and going on walks after just six hours of sleep before shooting on an 11-hour filming schedule.
‘It’s clockwork, very regimented. It’s wake up, lunch, a very long bike ride, then he’s at the film set from 6pm,’ an inside source told The Mirror on Saturday.
They continued: ‘He then arrives back at the hotel around 5am. That exercise and work regime would be punishment for a man half his age. It’s real dedication.”
‘It’s incredible. He seems to live a very strict routine. You can set your watch by the things he does at the same time every day. Regimented.
For his cycles, Harrison reportedly uses a £12,000 road racing bike and has stopped for lunch at the Ship’s Cat seafood restaurant in North Shields to refuel.
The star is chaperoned for his daily workout by security and is also accompanied by his personal assistant.
MailOnline has contacted Harrison’s representatives for comment.
This marks Harrison’s fifth time reprising the title role of the heroic archaeologist with supporting parts going to Mads Mikkelsen, 55, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, 35.
And although Harrison is in impeccable shape, a younger stunt double has been spotted on the set.
The stuntman was spotted earlier this week in an action packed scene – shot in the early hours in Pickering – where he accidentally fell off of a motorcycle.
The on-set first aid team was called over to check out the stunt rider. While it appeared he was unharmed, filming was paused due to damage caused to the bike.
According to a witness, one of the crew was heard saying that the production is already a day behind schedule, following a lengthy hold up thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Indiana Jones 5 was first announced in 2016 and originally scheduled to be released in July 2019.
It was then pushed back a year, before being delayed for another 12 months until July 2021 after Jonathan Kasdan – whose father Lawrence Kasdan wrote 1981’s Raiders of the Lost Ark – was brought on board to work on the script after original screenwriter David Koepp departed the project.
James Mangold is directing the movie in place of Steven Spielberg, and plot details are still being kept under wraps.
Legendary composer John Williams is also set to return, continuing a musical legacy that began 40 years ago with Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Meanwhile, Harrison previously said he wouldn’t make another Indiana Jones movie unless he was sure the production team could ‘kill it.’
Citing the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he said: ‘I don’t really want to give them what they wanna see, I want to give them something they didn’t anticipate seeing.
‘The Marvel movies are a spectacular example of a success that worked the other way round – they killed it. We’re not going to make another Indiana Jones unless we’re in a position to kill it. We want it to be the best.’
The most recent film in the series was 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which earned over $790.6 million at the global box office.
The current release date for Indiana Jones 5 is July 29, 2022.
