Harrison Ford is back in the driving seat just two months after crash-landing his plane.
The Hollywood star was seen cruising around LA with a friend in an electric car this weekend.
It’s the first time the 72-year-old actor has been pictured in public since narrowly avoiding death
when his vintage 1942 Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR crash landed at Penmar Golf Course in California.
Harrison safely brought the aircraft down on the eight-hole course in March and was hailed a hero for missing nearby homes.
The Star Wars actor was reportedly left with a head wound ‘the size of a pancake’ after the crash, but his face appeared to be healed as he was seen sitting behind the wheel.
Ford also broke several bones in his pelvis and ankle on March 5 when the engine of his plane failed.
Last month the actor’s close friend, famed producer Frank Marshall, told America’s Variety magazine Harrison was already back on his feet.
“Harrison is at home (in Los Angeles) and he’s up and about,” Marshall said. I talked to him on Tuesday and he’s doing really well.
“He’s pretty banged up, but he’s recovering remarkably. He wants to play tennis.”
Marshall added if it wasn’t for his expertise Ford would of been much more seriously injured.
“That’s the thing you would expect him to do in a movie, but he did it in real life,” he added. “He’s a really good pilot. I’ve talked to a lot of pilots who said that was a hell of a landing and he did everything correct in that situation.
“He made an incredible landing, to his credit. He is, after all, Indiana Jones.”
Actor Harrison is also set to make a return in a new Indiana Jones movie after he finishes work on Star Wars.
