Action-hero Harrison Ford has been spotted taking to the skies since returning to Los Angeles, often flying his helicopter around the city.
However, on Monday the 72-year-old star opted for a more casual form of transportation, as he drove his wife and adopted son Liam to dinner in Brentwood, California.
This comes just before a clip is released for the trailer of the star’s highly anticipated film Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, which won’t hit theaters until December 2015.
Harrison looked well put together in a light blue button down shirt, which he had tucked into his dark wash jeans.
He also sported a black leather belt, and a pair of black leather boots, to complete his dressy but casual ensemble.
The star seemed to be in good spirits as he stopped to sign fan memorabilia on his way out of the restaurant in Brentwood, California.
Harrison was joined by his wife, 50-year-old Ally McBeal star Calista Flockhart, and his adopted son, 13-year-old Liam.
The three dropped by Vincente Ristorante in Brentwood, California, where the legendary actor was later stopped for autographs.
It’s a big week for the star, as it was recently announced that a short trailer for his upcoming film, Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens would premier in select theaters on Friday.
In the film, Harrison will be starring alongside Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and Anthony Daniels, who are also reprising the roles that made them famous, in the upcoming film.
They will join a host of newcomers, including Lupita Nyong’o, Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac, and though not much is known about the plot, it will be a continuation of the saga created by George Lucas 30 years after the end of Star Wars: Episode IV – The Return Of The Jedi.
And Anthony, who plays C-3PO, hinted earlier this month that the latest offering may just be the best one yet – making Friday’s peek at the trailer all the more exciting.
‘No movie sequel is better than The Empire Strikes Back. You might eat those words for Xmas dinner in 2015,’ he tweeted. ‘Joy & Indigestion to the world!’
