Britney Spears was warned by police after her dog, a Labrador Retriever named Sawyer, escaped from her home and bit an elderly man.

The incident occurred in the Thousand Oaks, California area, where Spears lives. 

According to police, the elderly man, named John Smith, was walking in the neighborhood when Sawyer attacked him. 

Smith was taken to the hospital with injuries to his arms and legs.

Spears admitted that Sawyer was her dog and that she had not put him on a leash before he escaped. 

She also said that she was sorry about the incident and that she had apologized to Smith.

Police warned Spears that if she continued to let Sawyer run loose and bite people, she could be charged with violating animal ownership laws.

This incident has caused a lot of controversy on social networks. Some people criticized Spears for letting Sawyer run free, while others said she shouldn’t be blamed for the dog’s behavior.

Spears has not commented publicly on the incident.
