Jamie Lynn said she and Britney had always been close friends, but their relationship began to fall apart when Britney was placed under the guardianship of her father, Jamie Spears, in 2008.

Jamie Lynn said she felt stuck between her father and Britney, and she didn’t know who to support.

“I was a kid in all of this,” Jamie Lynn said. “I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what to say. I just want to help.”

“I’m always there for her,” Jamie Lynn said. “I always support her.”
