Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are one of Hollywood’s hottest couples. In 2019, the pair announced their engagement after three years of dating.

Now, Perry and Bloom have been engaged for three years, and are showing no signs of a wedding.

With rumors floating around about Perry being insecure about her decision to marry Bloom,

the pop singer squashed the allegations by saying she’s waiting to say “I do” until the pair can get married in a distant and special place.

With the COVID-19 pandemic making travel hard, Perry explained that their “party far from home” has delayed her wedding plans.

“We’re still trying to make it work, [but] every two months it’s like: new variant! New variant!” she said in an appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

Bloom proposed to Perry over dinner in February of 2019. “I thought we were going to see some kind of art after the meal, but we boarded a helicopter. We had champagne and the ring box was in his jacket pocket.” Perry said.
