While Sasha Banks left WWE on a bad note, she still remains connected to WWE through her fans and her ex-coworkers.

While WWE may have tried to remove her records from their directory, she continues to banter with her colleagues and friends.

Most recently, Banks took to redressing Dwayne Johnson in a way that suits her much more. Her recent act involves a makeover of Dwayne Johnson’s iconic picture from the days when he had his People’s Champion hair.

Sasha Banks gives Dwayne Johnson some better headgear

Former WWE World Champion Sasha Banks aka Mercedes Mone in NJPW, took to Instagram on December 23rd to share a picture of Dwayne Johnson.

It would have been no issue for The Rock but Banks took the opportunity to edit the pic and do a makeover of Dwayne Johnson’s iconic fanny pack look. Interestingly, Kevin Hart has also joked about the picture by dressing up and posing similarly.

In the picture, Dwayne Johnson is wearing a black colored turtleneck with denim. He also sports a necklace while resting his left hand on a slab. Sasha Banks edited the as she planted a wig on Dwayne Johnson’s head. Johnson is seen sporting the same wig and headgear that Banks had sported during her debut as Mercedes Mone at NJPW.

Johnson has not reacted to the picture yet. Though the two superstars are not related directly beyond their WWE and wrestling careers, they have an indirect connection, with the two having a seemingly close connection with Kevin Hart, directly or indirectly.

An indirect connection between Sasha Banks and Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson’s good friend, Kevin Hart invited The People’s Champ to Episode 9 of Season 3 of Hart to Heart Show. During the interview, Dwayne Johnson spoke about the development in the women’s division of the pro wrestling business.

Following it up, Hart mentioned the name of Sasha Banks which led to Johnson teasing Hart playfully. He said, “I just saw a little twinkle in your eye, that’s all.” It was a reference to Hart blushing at the mention of Sasha Banks’ name. He further mentioned Hart’s type and said, “Beautiful, gorgeous, bada**.” Well, the former WWE Champion ticks all the boxes.
