She may be in New York, but Nicki Minaj is bringing us to Gag City with her latest outfit.

Hot off the release of Pink Friday 2, the rapper and Vogue’s December cover star took to the streets gleaming in gold from head to toe—literally.

Minaj wore a metallic trench from Dolce & Gabbana’s fall 2023 collection that mimicked the look of gold foil.

The $6,095 coat reached the rapper’s ankles, but still allowed for us to see her statement shoes: a pair of 4-inch heels from Schiaparelli.

The black leather mules—which retail for just over $3,500—feature gold trompe l’oeil toes with silver nails, a motif that is becoming a growing signature of the house. 

As if Minaj’s eye-catching coat and jaw-dropping shoes weren’t enough, she stepped out with perhaps the most sought-after bag of the moment on her arm: the Louis Vuitton Speedy bag.

Maybe Pharrell’s much-discussed $1 million Speedy inspired Minaj to break out her own handbag, albeit hers (in keeping with the rest of her glimmering ’fit) is gold.

She finished off the look with a black, white, and gold Chanel scarf tied around her head, drawing the eye to her knee-length hair. 

While last Friday may have been a Pink Friday for the ages, Nicki Minaj is making today a golden Monday.
