Nicki Minaj took to Instagram in a casual ensemble while spending time with her husband, Kenny Petty, and their son, whom they have nicknamed Papa Bear. 

The “Super Bass” rapper slipped into a pair of colorful Lanvin sneakers for the family affair.

The low-top shoes featured a turquoise tongue that lay just below the oversized neon pink laces, which were decorated by a light pink bow.

A black and white chevron-striped panel separated the dark beige suede upper from the cream sole.

The limited-edition sneakers, created by CEO and founder of The Shoe Surgeon brand Dominic Ciambrone, were just released last week.

According to Lanvin, the set is “a marriage of old-school workmanship and cutting-edge technique.”

Minaj paired the sneakers with a white fitted top which she layered with a cropped black leather jacket. She added a high waisted pair of denim shorts with a raw hemline. 

The rapper accessorized the look with a silver-toned linked chain and a pair of studs. She completed the look with a red duffle bag and a pair of round Chanel sunglasses with gold hardware along the sides of the lens, in the shape of the brand’s CC logo.

She kept her dark brown hair in a sleek style complimenting her minimal makeup that featured a bare lip.

In a more neutral fashion, Petty and their son opted for a classic white pair of Nike Air Force 1s. 

The leather low-tops are one of the most popular styles from the brand among stars like Chanel West Coast, Keke Palmer and even Khloe Kardashian’s daughter True Thompson.

For footwear, Minaj can often be seen at a red carpet performance in a pair of pointed-toe pumps or strappy sandals from top labels like Gianvito Rossi and Bottega Veneta.

When off-duty, she gravitates towards comfortable pairs of chunky slides from Off-White or Louis Vuitton. Her go-to style choice is a pair of knee-high stiletto boots.
