Tina Turner was last pictured at her final public appearance back in 2019, when she attended a red carpet with her husband and Oprah Winfrey.
The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll died “peacefully” at her home in Switzerland yesterday aged 83, following a long illness.
The What’s Love Got to Do With It hitmaker was last seen in public in November 2019 as she attended the Broadway premier of the musical of her life, Tina.

Other snaps from the musical’s New York premiere at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre however show Tina stood unassisted at a microphone stand on stage.
Tina is said to have formally retired some years ago – saying her ‘farewell’ to fans in a documentary – and kept out of the spotlight in the final years of her life.
She made a pre-recorded appearance when she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist in October 2021.
The footage – seemingly filmed sometime around the awards ceremony – showed Tina beaming as she expressed pride over having received such recognition in her eighties.
