Being a jet-setter can be ruff – just ask Oprah’s beloved dog.
The 63-year-old TV mogul did her best to comfort her frightened pup Luke while jetting home from Hawaii with her partner Stedman Graham and best friend Gayle King on Thursday.
Gayle shared a sequence of pictures that captured the sweet moment with fans on Instagram.
Despite the luxury conditions, Luke wasn’t thrilled to be in the air so the billionaire dashed in to cuddle him on the plush bed.
Gayle wrote: ‘Nervous flyer Luke on board! Mom to the rescue swipe left to see who mom is & how she makes everything better ..stars they’re just like US!’
Oprah spent the holidays with her friends – and animals – in Maui, where she owns a large farm.
They also celebrated Gayle’s 63rd birthday on December 28. Oprah is a devoted dog owner – she calls them her ‘fur children.’
She got Luke, a Golden Retriever, as a puppy in 2006. She took home two other Golden Retrievers – Layla and Gracie – at the same time. Sadly, Gracie died after choking on a toy just two years later.
She also has a cocker spaniel Sadie, and springer spaniels Sunny and Lauren.
Oprah is now gearing up to promote her new Disney film, A Wrinkle in Time, which is released March 9.
