On January 9, 2013, the city of Busan, South Korea, awarded the title of “Honorary Citizen” to Rosamund Pike and Tom Cruise. 

This title is given to people who have made significant contributions to the city’s cinema industry.

Pike and Cruise came to Busan to promote the movie “Jack Reacher,” which was filmed in the city. 

The film was released in Korea on January 17, 2013.

Busan Mayor Hur Nam-sik presented the honors to Pike and Cruise at a ceremony held at the Busan Cinema Center.

Pike said she was honored to receive the honor. 

She said she loves Korea and was happy to film there.

Cruise also said that he was honored to receive this title. He said that he loves Korean cinema and is happy to contribute to the city’s film industry.

This title is considered a way for Korea to show honor to those who have contributed to promoting the country’s film industry.
