On June 10, 2022, Paramount Pictures confirmed that filming of the movie “Mission: Impossible 7” was paused after testing positive for COVID-19 during a routine test.
Filming will resume on June 14, after all those involved complete quarantine, a studio spokesperson said.
This information disappointed many fans, because “Mission: Impossible 7” had to go through a long and complicated production process due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The film is scheduled to release on July 23, 2023.
This is the second time filming of “Mission: Impossible 7” has been paused due to COVID-19.
The first time was in October 2020, when 12 people from the film crew tested positive.

In an audio clip leaked in December 2021, Cruise scolded crew members for violating social distancing guidelines.
