Movie star Tom Cruise was present at Outwoods Edge School in Loughborough, England to teach history to 3rd grade students.
This is an activity organized to encourage students to love history and learn about ancient civilizations.
Cruise, a history enthusiast, spent the morning introducing students to Pompeii, an ancient Roman city destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D.
Cruise used engaging stories and vivid images to help students visualize the lives of the people of Pompeii.
Cruise began by telling the students about the history of Pompeii and how the city was built.
He then talked about the daily lives of the people of Pompeii, from activities like going to the market and watching wrestling to religious ceremonies.
Cruise also shared stories about the people of Pompeii who were buried in the volcanic eruption.
The students were very excited about Cruise’s lecture. They listened attentively and asked many questions. Cruise is excited to share his passion for history with students.
