In an interview in Glamor magazine published in April 2023, actress Katie Holmes shared strange things about raising her daughter Suri Cruise. 

Holmes said she always prioritized protecting Suri’s privacy, even when she was a famous star.

Holmes and Tom Cruise married in 2006 and had daughter Suri a year later. 

When Suri was young, she was often followed and photographed by paparazzi. 

This makes Holmes worry about her daughter’s safety and development.

“The most important thing to me is Suri’s protector,” Holmes said.

She experienced too much attention when she was young. I want her to have a peaceful and carefree childhood.

To protect Suri from the spotlight, Holmes has limited public appearances with her daughter. She also does not share Suri’s personal information on social networks.

Even so, Holmes still wants Suri to participate in the entertainment field. In 2022, Suri sang the opening song for the movie Alone Together starring her mother. In 2023, she also had a voice in the soundtrack of the movie Rare Objects.

“I always wanted Suri to participate in my projects,” Holmes said. “She has talent and loves art. I want her to have the opportunity to express herself.”

Holmes also said she was very proud of Suri. She is a person with a kind heart and always cares about others.

“Suri is a wonderful little girl,” Holmes said. “I am very lucky to be her mother.”
