They jetted into Los Angeles on July the Fourth and, naturally, Harrison Ford was the pilot of his own plane.

The 75-year-old actor was seen leaving the aircraft with a backpack while his wife Calista Flockhart, 53, toted at least three bags.

 The Star Wars veteran has been waiting for his next film, Indiana Jones 5, to get a start date.

Calista showed off her slender figure in a pale blue blouse that she wore over a white T-shirt with cropped jeans and dark blue slip-on shoes.

She popped a denim cap over her blonde tresses as she walked to a car where Harrison and a young man were loading up the trunk.

Also seen on the tarmac was their son Liam who wore a red Stanford shirt.

The aviator has famously had three incidents while flying, the most serious being in 2015 when he was forced to land his plane on the golf course near Santa Monica Airport after it malfunctioned.

He clipped a tree, damaging his plane and sustaining serious injuries.

In February 2017 Harrison landed his single-engine Husky in the wrong place at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, Ca., just missing a Boeing 737 carrying 110 passengers.

There didn’t appear to be any such problems on this trip.

Meanwhile, Harrison’s return to his much loved Indiana Jones character has been delayed ‘for months,’ Variety reported at the end of June.

Indiana Jones 5 was supposed to open in movie theaters on July 10, 2020, but that no longer seems possible due to script problems.

However, Steven Spielberg confirmed when in London in March that he was still directing the movie

The original Indiana Jones film – Raiders Of The Lost Ark – was released in 1981, followed by Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom in 1984, Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade in 1989, with Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull rounding out the series in 2008.
